We are developing PointCheck™; the first noninvasive device for the screening of severe neutropenia.

By imaging the blood flowing through the capillaries in the finger, PointCheck™ is able to determine if white cell levels are dangerously low, completely noninvasively without having to extract any blood

If severe neutropenia (a critically low level of neutrophils, the most common subtype of white blood cell) is detected early and monitored routinely, severe infections such as febrile neutropenia can be avoided through treatment. PointCheck™, which is non-invasive and quick, as opposed requiring blood draws, allows outpatients to regularly monitor their neutrophil levels in the home and get the care they need to receive effective treatment.
